Are you a fan of classic literature? Do you love plays? Is Shakespeare your go-to author when you have a desire to read? Well, this summer, the Santa Ana parks and recs department in conjunction with Shakespeare by the sea will present the literary classic, Othello, directed by Stephanie Coltrin. The legendary Shakespearean play will be held at Birch Park in July. The parks department encourages residents to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics foods for this wonderful and FREE event.

Shakespeare in the park is expected to be a magical evening where the audience is transformed back to Victorian times and enjoys one of the greatest plays ever written. Admission is free of charge, but seating space is on a first-come first-serve basis, so be sure to show up early.
