If you are a hiking novice and need a simple trail to start your exercise journey the Peters Canyon Regional Park has been called “one of the easiest hikes in OC.”

The trails are open from 7am to sunset and are free to use and enter, but parking will cost $3 to $5 depending on where you stop. The area offers 55 acres of land along with a blend of nature, water, trails and fun. The Atlanta Falcons are set to play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. Either you are super excited or have no idea what you just read. Santa Ana Events: 2017 Bull Riding Championships

Even if you aren’t necessarily into country music and or their pop culture scene, heading over to the 2017 Championship Bull Riding Bucking challenge in Santa Ana is a great way to try something new get out of your comfort zone. The Star Center will be hosting the bull riding festivities on Saturday, January 28. World Champion Bull Rider Sage Steele Kimzey will be present to defend is title and top CBR ranking (yeah, I have no idea who is he either, but he’s kind of a big deal.)

“Kimzey is fundamentally flawless, the best rider this sport has seen in 15 years,” is what the CBR says on its website. Tickets for the event cost $25 each and are still on sale and can be purchased at the door. Discover the Science of Gingerbread

You might not think about it, but there’s loads of science during the holidays. This December why not get your little ones into the kitchen and explore the educational world of cooking? The Discovery Cube in Santa Ana will be hosting a Science of Gingerbread event from now until the end of the year that is free with the cost of entrance into the museum.  


The fun will feature hands on science/cooking experiments, cookie decorating, gingerbread displays, and a visit from Santa Claus. The event is designed help families celebrate the holidays with educational activities to help bring families together.  Santa will not be on hand every day, so check with the Discovery Cube’s website to find out scheduling details for the next week.
